While Young apparently has not defined her sexuality in public, she recalls the first time she fell in love with an interview with British GQ in September 2021.

The rising star was 20 years old at the interview and talked about experiencing “true love” at the age of 14 – “but it’s never as true as it felt right now, I guess,” she admitted.

“I certainly believe in young love, but I think love changes depending on your life experience. The person was great but it just wasn’t right,” Young said. “I don’t Love Love most of the time, but sometimes I do, and I don’t like change, which means I like to stay in relationships as long as they last. ”

She continued, “I’m not so sure why I don’t like change. I do, it has a lot to do with my childhood, but I just don’t like change so love is important to me as much as I might hate it.”
