Instead of seeking medical help for a woman injured in a car accident, a Fort Lauderdale is accused of sexually attacked her, according to the authorities.

Brendan Lee Jones, 40, was arrested on sexual battery charges on Thursday, according to Broward County Jail Records. These accusations originate from his alleged victim’s claims that Jones sexually attacked her on September 15, 2023 after she was in a car accident rather than bringing her to a hospital, confirms an official from Fort Lauderdale Police Department for people.

Jones’ DNA appeared on a rape set that was dealt with in 2024, which led to his Thursday arrest, according to a Fort Lauderdale Police Department incident obtained by Wplgwhere his name is spelled “Brend.”

The alleged victim told the police in an interview that Jones picked her up from a food shop near Dillard High School that day, according to the report.

Jones’s friend picked them up after he fled from the stage, the woman claims – but Jones refused to take her to a hospital even though she needed to be lifted from the vehicle “because she was painful and motionless,” according to the report.

The alleged victim told us said Jones and his friend to “take her home if they would not take her to a hospital.” Instead, she claims that they took her to Jones home where she fell asleep in his bed.

The woman told the police that she woke up to Jones who sexually attacked her, and that the man commented as “I can do whatever I want” and “open your F-Ing Ben, you made me crash my car,” the report claims.

Jones is currently behind bars in Broward Main Jail, according to prison posts, where he is held at $ 150,000.
