Harrison Ford is full of praise for its new costs, Michael J. Fox!
When you participate in Shrinking FYC events on Apple TV+ Emmy House, Hollywood Athletic Club, in Los Angeles on Sunday, May 18, the actor, 82, spoke exclusively to People About Fox, 63, Join the role of Shrinking For season three.
It marks Back to the future the star’s return to the camera acts after his 2020 Pension notice In the middle of his trip with Parkinson’s. “His willingness to be a part of our show is a great source of inspiration and gives us a real purpose,” Ford tells People. “It’s not just us who come together, two actors. There is a story to tell, and our commitment to the story is what goes with us together. I appreciate his will to be part of the show.”

In the series, Ford plays like Dr. Paul Rhodes, a therapist who exercises mental health therapy while navigating his own Parkinson’s diagnosis.
Parkinsons is a “brain disorder that causes unintentional or uncontrollable movements such as shaking, stiffness and difficulties with balance and coordination”, according to National Institute of Aging. The disease worsens over time, with some people who have it experience “mental and behavioral changes, sleep problems, depression, memory problems and fatigue.”

Ford said Fox is “Satisfied” Apple TV+ series is “to bring Parkinson’s more in light”, after spending his life spreading awareness and raising money to fight the disease since he publicly shared his diagnosis in 1991 at the age of 29.
He continued to act in Spinnstad from 1996 to 2001 despite its diagnosis and continued to start in The good wife before he announced his pension. Fox launched Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research 2000.
When asked if he worked with Fox, his depiction of the disease helped, “says Ford,” I’m sure there are subtle things that will emerge later. ”
“When we were together, it was an achievement of all of us who tried to meet all the ambitions, both obvious and attendants, to the ideas we try to deal with,” he continues. “I have done what I could to get acquainted with the aspects of the disease I portray and I am at a much different stage of the disease.”
“My character is at a very different stage of the disease than Michael,” he adds. “But Michael, as Bill (Lawrence) points out, is completely there at the intellectual level. And emotionally his humor and his courage are obvious.”

Ford previously told People that he takes his role in the series ”Deadly F —— Serious. ”
“There is no intention to make it a joke, but there are people who absorb these types of experiences with grace and courage and a little wisdom,” he said. “And it’s not to say that some people don’t.”
“It’s just to say that this is a person who is particularly equipped to communicate what it is like, and it is something I know that is worth sharing with our audience,” added Ford.
