Halle Bailey accused his ex-boyfriend and father of her child, DDGof abuse and granted a temporary restriction decision against him, according to court documents obtained by people on Tuesday, May 13.
The little mermaid Star, 25, detailed alleged incidents of abuse that she claims to have endured in the hands of DDG, 27, whose full name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry. The former couple’s son, Halo Saint Granberry, born in December 2023, is also protected from DDG during the temporary restriction order, which was submitted in the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
The temporary restriction order requires DDG, a rapper and Twitch Streamer, to remain over 100 meters from Bailey and Halo all the time, including at Halo’s school and Bailey’s vehicles. Bailey and DDG began their relationship in 2022 and Finally shared in 2024.

Bailey’s request for a limitation order obtained by people describes several incidents of alleged abuse, with specific cases that go back to January 2025. “I realize that there is no placement of Darryl. I cannot allow this abuse anymore,” Bailey wrote in the documents.
Among the accusations made against DDG is that he often abused Bailey verbally, often called her “a bitch” or “evil” in front of their 2-year-old son. “When he wants to cause upset, he starts badly to his millions of fans,” Bailey wrote in his explanation.
The explanation continued, “He claims that I hold back our son and that I am with other men. As a result, I then get threats and hatred on social media. He seems to try to set up drama for his fans. He goes” live “about me and claims that I keep Halo from him. This is false. I have requested a setup plan, which he refuses.”

Bailey submitted a police report to the Los Angeles Police Department in March, according to the declaration. DDG went into his home after she warned him that she and Halo were sick with respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and that Halo could not leave the house, Bailey claims in his explanation. In response, DDG was said to scream at Bailey, damage her ring camera and try to take the child without her consent.
The request for a restriction order includes photographic evidence of the alleged abuse, including a previous incident claimed resulted in Bailey damage. Photos show her chipped front tooth and a large bruise on her bicep.
An alleged text message was also submitted as evidence. Bailey spent Mother’s Day in St. Lucia with her sister, Chloe BaileyAlthough DDG is said to have accused her of visiting the island of being with a man.

The text message exhibited with the court documents, which was sent on Sunday, May 11, read: “Darryl, aren’t you tired of harassing me? You make a new lie on me every day .. I’m in St Lucia who has fun with Shermay and Chloe. Not with any man out here.
Bailey has requested custody of Halo while films an upcoming project in Italy for two months, starting on June 7.
“I have family and a grandchild who will travel with me to take care of Halo while I work,” the detailed court document.
“I also ask the court to order Darryl to cease and refrain from publishing and/or streaming on all platforms about Halo and/or me, including but not limited to Youtube, Twitch, Tiktok, Instagram and Twitter/X,” The Reading. “He is a Youtube and Twitch blogger and creates a fan -Frenesi by making false claims about me. This has made me feel scared and victims. His fans then threaten me. I’m often afraid of my life and Halo’s security. #Freehal has become a slogan online.”
Bailey also asked the judge to order DDG to participate in a batter intervention program and to show evidence he completed the 52-week program.
A court hearing on the case was scheduled for June 4.
