After initially thought that Josh was kidnapped as part of a drug ring, she later discovers that her time in Afghanistan is the reason she is fighting for her and her son’s life. But after her son was taken, she discovers that security manager Kynch was also a soldier in Afghanistan at the same time. Sara soon realizes that he had met a member of Taliban before the attack and sold them information about his team’s plan.
Kynch initially denies hard all commitment and convinces everyone that Sara suffers from a hallucination caused by post -traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Fortunately for Sara, she meets a woman named Irina (Llera Abova) who is also held in the US consulate against her will. Irina reveals that she is the daughter of a rich German criminal killed by the government and that she contains a USB drive with evidence of the murder.

In the middle of Sara trying to find her son, she and Irina reject two trained attackers trying to abduct her so that she cannot reveal the German government’s murder.
The two women then go to Kynch’s office, where they discover that he has been the mastermind behind the entire trial. Sara concludes that Kynch kidnapped her son as part of a larger plan that would result in Sara’s death, so that she could never reveal him to leak information for Taliban.
Sara and Irina get to a warehouse within the consulate, and Irina enters the back of a truck and leaves the plant so she can safely flee.
Sara then avoids the consulate and leads to Kynch’s daughter’s school, takes her to a locked room and demands that Kynch come in and talk to her.
During the intense conversation, Kynch finally admits to leak information to Taliban for money before the deadly explosion. He also explains that German kidnappers paid him to remove Irina. He would blame the abduction on Sara and kill her during the process and silenced her from revealing his secrets.
Kynch draws one last move in the cramped space and shoots Sara in his stomach, while pushing himself in his leg, so that he can claim that she shot him first. However, Sara crawls to Intercom where she plays Kynch’s entire confession, which she recorded on her daughter’s toy, to the rest of the generals.
