A man is celebrated as a hero after saving a woman from being attacked by a bull shark.
In a new interview with 60 minutes Australia Released on Saturday April 26, Blake Donaldson opened the moment he jumped in the water to save Mangyon “Mani” Zhang.
57-year-old Zhang had swam 10 meters from the beach at Gunyah Beach in Bundeena, Australia, on March 7, when her right legs were attacked evil by a bull shark.
Zhang, who revealed 38 cm of the shark’s jaw had a bit in her right legs, did not feel the grip of the creature at that time and led that she thought she had been knitted.

When she realized that she had been bitten by a shark, Zhang froze because she did not want the shark to come back but after a minute she screamed for help and got Donaldson to run to action, per outlet.
The hero and his partner, Ellen Melchert, were the only ones on the beach at that time.
When he heard the screams Donaldson jumped straight into the water and walked toward the blood and told 60 minutes, He did not question his actions.
“I just (had) to jump in,” he said. “The struggle or flight kicks in, and I just made the decision, sure there could be a shark but my reaction was:” I just have to save this woman. ”

“I didn’t think about the shark, I didn’t think about my own safety, I just can’t see this woman drowning,” he continued. “Either you see someone drown or if you go out and help them. A couple (off) seconds can mean someone’s life.”
After Donaldson got Zhang on the beach, Melchert used first aid.
The shark’s victims struggled to stay conscious and thought about how she wanted to see her partner Maria at least again.
“Suddenly I see all these colors and I can’t see anything else. I think I heard people say:” She has no pulse. ”
Intensive care paramedics Marco Aielli, who was called to the stage, said that Zhang had lost a “disastrous amount of” blood and led her blood pressure to sank.
