Dave Coulier Got two parts of life -changing news the same day.
The Full -house Alun, who recently celebrated both to become Cancer -free and To become a grandfatherrevealed that both milestones occurred in quick succession.
The 65-year-old actor revealed the time for both important occasions for their former costs, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea BarberOn Friday, April 18, the episode of their podcast, How rude, Tanneritos!
He explained that he was told he was cancer -free from his Step 3 Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma Wednesday, March 26 and added: “I got the good news the day the baby was born.”
“So I heard the news and I was so excited, and then Luc called us and he said:” Hello, the baby was just born. “And so, I mean, it was a fantastic day,” he remembered. “It was really amazing, do you know?” Adds, “So we were like,” Oh, this is just too much! ”

Coulier’s son, Luc, 34, and his wife, Alex, welcomed his baby son, Chance Lee, Thursday 27 March Per Parade. Coulier shares LUC with ex-wife Jayne Meanan.
He told Sweetin, 43 and Barber, 48, that the chance is “healthy” and a “big little baby” weighing 7 kilos, 6 ounces. He also said he will meet his grandson later this month. Coulier is currently in Michigan, while his son’s family is in Sacramento.
On Monday March 31, a representative of Coulier for people confirmed that he was cancer -free. He first revealed his diagnosis Exclusive to people in November 2024.
At that time, he explained that an upper respiratory tract infection resulted in swelling in his lymph nodes, which led to him being tested and then eventually diagnosed in October 2024.
“This has been a really fast roller coaster of a trip,” he said in November 2024. “I looked at how these words affected (my wife, Melissa) And I thought, ‘Do you know what? I will be strong throughout this, not just for me, but I will be strong for her. “”
He also noted at that time how much support he received from Melissa, like his son, Luc. Coulier said it was especially “tough” to tell his son Luc about his diagnosis because he was about to welcome his boy with his wife.

“We all have choices in life,” he told PEOPLE In November. “You can laugh through the tough times and try to see the glass half full or you can go the opposite direction, which does not really help anything. And then I did – the choice was made for me – you will get through this, but you will help some other people along the way.”
