Bride tells Bridesmaid that she “must not get pregnant” until after her wedding

A bridesmaid hopes to start her family soon, but her friend and future bride tells her to hold on.

The 32-year-old bridesmaid was divided into a post On Reddit’s popular “Bridezillas” forum that she and her husband started talking about starting a family soon – a topic that her husband had taken up because her “watch is ticking” – but her friend immediately closed the idea.

“I mentioned that I was pregnant to the bride and she told me to wait until after the wedding, which is towards the end of the year in true” you better not “fashion”, she reminded.

“I get that she doesn’t want me to look huge on photos, but this trend not to let people get pregnant is so self -centered and seems to be a common desire for today’s brides,” she added.

The Redditor noted that since she was not friends with the other bridesmaids, she could not ask them for input on this and felt she “can’t.” She then asked the question to others in the forum and asked, “I just want to know opinions about this and if anyone has had a similar experience?”

Several people commented that they believed the bride was a “bridezilla” to suggest that the bridesmaid would not get pregnant during her wedding.

One person wrote: “She gave you an ultimatum. Try for a child or be in her wedding. She puts” Zilla “in Bridezilla in letters you can see from space.”

Another agreed that the bride was unfair and said, “Whoever says you should put your future to take into account their wedding is not a friend.”

They suggested that she is considering dropping out of the wedding and said, “You are not comfortable to wait, and since she is not comfortable with trying, it is probably the best you bend now.”

“If you want to have a child, do it whenever you want,” a person chimped in. “Why does your friend even need to know or care?” Someone else noted something similar: “You get pregnant is a question between you and your husband. The bride to be does not get a veto and does not get a voice.”

Another commentator suggested that the bridesmaid also does what she wants to do and said, “Life for others does not end, just because someone is getting married.”
