The remains of an 82-year-old grandmother were discovered in concrete inside a shed in Olympia, Wash., Less than a week after her family reported that she was missing.
Police with Thurston County Sheriff’s Office found Maria Norman’s remains on the property built by her craftsman, Jeffrey Zizz. Zizz, 47, has been appointed a person of interest and held in Thurston County prison for a “child mission that sentenced violation,” said sheriff’s office in an edition that was shared on Facebook Tuesday, April 15th.
Norman was last seen on the evening of April 1 at his home outside the Military Road Southeast near Tenino, when she is alleged to have eaten dinner with Zizz, police say in a previous drop. Her family reported that she was missing on April 4, after hearing from her since April 1st. Zizz fled the state and was picked up in Missoula, Mont., On an independent “sex crime”, Per Sheriff. Handyman has since been extradited to Washington for further prosecution.
“Zizz remains in Thurston County prison on a without bail for his children’s morality that sentenced infringement order while detective concludes and gathers evidence,” the sheriff continued. “Zizz is still the primary person of interest in the ongoing investigation, and detective continues to work closely with both Thurston County Prosecutor and Coroner’s office.”
Zizz once served as pastor at Calvary Chapel in North Thurston in Lacey, Wash. The Evangelical Church ended his employment at his 2021 arrest, when he was booked on suspicion of nine criminal bills that included incest, rape of a child and moster, Per Per NBC News.
In 2022, Zizz cited guilty of two bills of second degree molestation against the victims between 12 and 14 years, reports the outlet. He also appealed guilty to a bill to communicate with a minor for 18 years for immoral purposes.

He was eventually sentenced to 104 months behind bars and was released after 11 months to enter into a treatment program that included several conditions, including not leaving Washington State.

Separate whether Zizz is accused of Norman’s death and disappearance, he is still facing 93 months of enclosure to allegedly breaking the conditions for his conditional release for his 2022 conviction.
