Human remains have been found near a car belonging to a mother that has been missing in Australia since February 2, according to local authorities.
On Friday, April 4, the Queensland police said that the remains had been located one day after a vehicle belonging to 29-year-old Tayla spies was found at a property in Noorindoo in the Maranoa region in Queensland, officers said in one drop.
Spies, from the Roma and Dalby areas in Queensland, were most recently seen “in the Surat area between 11-11.30 (local time) on Sunday, February 2,” said police earlier in 10 February 10 drop.
Early on Friday the police said in a update“Around 15.00 (April 3), police were called to a Yuleba-Surate Road property after reporting a white Toyota Hilux-matching Tayla’s vehicle low.”
“Detective has confirmed that the vehicle is Tayla after locating property in the vehicle belonging to the missing person,” added it.
Queensland Police
Officers added in another update later on Friday, “The police have located human remains after the search for a rural property northeast of Surat today April 4,” and confirmed that they had found the remains at about 12.00 local time that day.
“The remains are not yet formally identified,” the police continued in the publication. “Investigators are in contact with the Spies family. Investigations and forensic investigations continue.”
According to Australian broadcasting company (ABC) was discovered the car belonging to spies at a property around 264 miles west of Brisbane.
“Complete forensic investigation must be conducted to verify that”, the local detective inspector, Gary Watts, told the outlet.
“A complete forensic (examination) of the area where the remains were found will now be implemented,” he added.
ABC reported that the vehicle had been discovered by the property owner, who said he did not think the car had been there for more than 12 days.
Spies were considered to have disappeared after failing to return home after a weekend with his partner in Dalby in Queensland’s remote Western Downs, Per News.com.au.
Queensland Police
The police have released several pictures of spies and her vehicle, and she was seen wearing a pink shirt in one of the last observations that she received gas in CCTV pictures released by officers on March 3 post.
A pink shirt similar to that of spies was dressed, along with a bag believed to contain her belongings, was reportedly found in the vehicle, ABC reported.
“At present, we have not entered the vehicle,” said detective inspector Watts earlier, according to the outlet.

He added that the vehicle was “towed back to Roma now and will be investigated by our crime and forensic experts”, ABC added.
“Tayla is described as Caucasian, with brown shoulder length hair, blue eyes, narrow building and about 170 cm (67 inches) high, and has the word karma tattooed over her chest,” said police in a April 4 -mail.
