Dawn Robinson Puts the record straight.
After founding Vogue member, 58, revealed that she has been Living in his car for the past three years In a March 11 Youtube -Videoshe issued a statement that cleaned up some misconceptions about her living situation.
“Sometimes in life we end up in situations that we didn’t expect,” Robinson said. “There is something we need to learn or learn, but we are too scared to drive ourselves out of our comfort zones to do so – so the universe does for us! During this period of growth we either learn to trust ourselves or give in to fear and fail.”
She then talked about wanting to clarify some takeaways from her video: “I want to make it clear: I am not homeless. I temporarily choose Billiv as part of my trip with healing and self -discovery.”
“I took a risk and jumped into this lifestyle, and wow, what a crazy, funny, sometimes scary ride it has been,” Robinson’s statement continued. “For me, failure is not an option. Being vulnerable sucks, but here I grow. It is about embracing freedom, trusting the process and finding strength in the unexpected.”
The “Free Your Mind” singer also gave a warning to fans who want to support her. “I have become aware that some individuals can request money on my behalf via platforms such as cash app, gofundme or otherwise,” she said. “I want to be clear: I have not approved any collection campaigns, and I do not want anyone – especially my loyal fans – to be deceived or exploited.”

Robinson concluded: “Your love and support means the world to me, and I want to make sure your kindness is not abused. Be careful and do not send money to someone who claims to act on my behalf.”

In the Youtube video, which was shared earlier this month, the former girl group member told her that she lived with her parents in Las Vegas 2020 before moving to Los Angeles on her former manager’s proposal. He offered her to stay with him, but the living situation did not go out, and she stayed in a hotel for eight months.

Robinson met difficulties in finding an apartment, began to investigate “Billiv” and finally chose to adopt it for himself. “I felt free,” she said about her decision. “I felt I was on a camping trip. It felt like it was the right thing to do.”
She ended the video by telling the viewers that she would have an apartment if she could, but she is “absolutely” glad she did this. “I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished here.”
Last week, Robinson’s former Make Andre Allen told TMZ He offers her a job that works for Hilton and noted that the position includes “Free Medical From Day One” and “PTO to juggle her career.”
