Wings Hauser has died at the age of 78.
The actor’s wife, Cali Lili Hauser, Took to Instagram Wednesday, March 19 to announce his death. In a long message, Cali Wing’s success and remembered him for his commitment to his craft.
“The film icon Wings Hauser took flights in his film and music partner, Cali Lili Hauser at his studio this weekend,” it said, along with a photo of them with his dog in Carmel, California, where his mother grew up. “Born in Hollywood, proud academic member and Prouder’s son of Oscar -winning writer, director, producer Dwight A. Hauser and loving mother Geraldine T. Hauser, Wings Hauser’s unique, legendary career stretched over 58 years in films, TV and music that works with many of the greatest artists in the industry
In addition to his wife, the wings of their children are survived: daughter light hauser and son Cole Hauser.

Cole followed in his father’s footsteps and also became an actor. He recently played as Rip Wheeler, the son -in -law to Kevin CostnerS John Dutton, in Yellowstone.
At the November premiere of Season 5 of Yellow stoneCole, 49, told People that he received valuable advice from his father to enter the industry.
“Oh god, yes. I mean, I think his advice was, you know, continues until you succeed,” Cole said. “Yes, you know you will be beaten in this industry. You will hear” no “a lot, but just keep following your dreams.”
Wings got its start First to fight 1967 before landing roles on Magnum, Pi, Höstkillen, Murder, she wrote, Perry Mason, Roseanne, Beverly Hills, 90210, Kingpin, Bones and Criminal senses.
He is best known for playing Greg Foster on the popular soap opera The young and the restless 1977 and again in 2010.
He also showed up in a number of films, especially the 1982 thriller Vice troop, Where he played Ramrod with Gary Swanson. In 1999 he appeared in The insider with Al Pacino and Russell Crowe and later took on Rubber and Tough guys don’t dance.

Wings were about to make a documentary about his life and career called Workers’ class actors. His wife’s post shared hope of continuing his production.
“His latest and upcoming publishers together with his living desire submit the torch to the love of his life, Cali, and requests that she continue the work that embodies their partnership, their love story and honors his heritage,” reads the caption. “Wings asks film and music lovers instead of flowers or cards that they kind show ongoing support for current and future projects.”
The Official Instagram page for the documentary Also acclaimed wings and wrote: “We are destroyed by the great #Wingshauser approved. We all mourn the loss of a huge heart and soul greater than his astonishing creative heritage. His contribution to the art survives to eternity and our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends and fans. TEAR”
