2024 released Country Star Hummingbirdan album that represented Healing After Heartbreak, which she detailed in her 2021 album 29. Now Pearce is ready to close it Hummingbird Chapter with The Deluxe release The serendy -seated band the albums together.
“‘Heart First’ and ‘IF Looks could kill’ are actually two songs that I wrote during writing for 29And just didn’t make the album that I now think are important songs for the story, “Pearce, 34, who plays Stagecoach The main stage in April tells people exclusively.
“But ‘No Rain’ was written two months ago, and it was actually written for my new album that I work with,” she continues.
Pearce is usually not the type to visit songs because she writes “I now – and if you don’t make the album, sorry, you’re done.” With “heart first” and “if appearance could kill,” she continued to find her way back.

“They feel like this girl who was part of Hummingbird album. They feel like that girl in the early 30s who struggle with falling too fast for someone and causing her heart to be demolished or seeing someone they loved to go ahead and find their person and how hard it can be, “still says the blue” singer.
These stories apply to Pearce’s experience of love in recent years – and she felt that if she waited longer to release them, they would not “be linked to who this next phase of my life is on my new project.”
In the end, these three songs mark – in addition to an acoustic reproduction of “Oklahoma” and “Things I don’t hunt” – the end of a Pearce chapter.
“These songs feel like the right way to close this chapter and feel excited about what will come after a painful five years,” says “What he don’t do” Singer.
She adds, “Not even my divorce. I have had several relationships in the last five years that just haven’t worked … I’m about to be 35 (and I) come to a place to be ok with myself. I feel you have to go through the rain to see the flowers, as cheesy as it sounds, but that’s why. ”
This did not happen overnight. After 29It took Pearce “a lot of time to come back to music.” Now she is more inspired than ever.
“I feel really inspired and excited to create new music. So you will get this music faster, I probably think at the end of the year,” she says, adding that the music “flows” out of her.
Until then Pearce will be on her way for her Hummingbirdwhich will be wrapped on May 16 at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. On April 25, Pearce will return to the Stage Coach Festival for the first time in eight years to perform on the head.

“I’ve always wanted to come back because I played two very, very small show at StageCoach 2018 when my career was … I think” every little thing “was the only thing that was out at that time,” she recalls.
She adds, “What I love about the festival and what I have had Fomo about over the past eight years is just that the culture is so special. From the clothes to the eclectic music bills every night and get to play with all these artists I love.”
For its set, Pearce promises to “keep the energy up” and music at the forefront.
“It’s really about the music. So I just think trying to bring musicality and stories and songwriting at the forefront of what I do best,” she says, adding that her outfit will include “Fringe.”
