Ashley Cooke reveals how she linked to Joe Jonas, Charlie Puth for new single (exclusive)

Ashley Cooke will never forget to work with Joe Jonas.

“Your place” singer, 27, recently released a new single “All in the Forget” with Jonas, 35, and she tells people that the collaboration was a dream.

“It was spontaneous! But I’ve always said I would love to make a song with Joe Jonas,” she says, noting that her team quickly called Jonas Team after COoke originally mowed the single.

“Jkash was in the studio and worked with Charlie Puth at that time, and he played the song for Charlie,” says Cooke. “Charlie hears it and goes, ‘I love this, can I add my little style to it?’

The rest is history, she says, and “All I Forgot” is now Cooke’s first edition since her debut, 24-song album Shot in the dark 2023.

“This is my first album, so it was a new process for me. We probably wrote, Gosh, 50, 60, 70 songs. We whittled down, and then we Whittled it down a bit more, and we got to 24 and I sat with the 24 songs, “Cooke told people earlier.” All these songs feel so real and accurate and coherent and they only tell a story and they make so much sensible for my life. ”
