A cat in Pennsylvania escaped unharmed, with some help, after being trapped in a car engine.
Charleroi Fire Department shared in a Facebook post On Monday 10 March that they had liberated the stuck cat earlier that day.
“This morning, Charleroi Brandmen answered the 200 -quarter of Meadow Ave. In Charleroi for a cat caught in the engine of a vehicle,” the post began. “Rescue-33 and CAR-1 arrived at the stage and after partially dismantling the vehicle, firefighters successfully liberated the cat unharmed.”
The fire brigade shared pictures of the rescue. The shots include a picture of the Tabby Cat which is a wedge in a narrow place under the car’s hood and a picture of a rescuer that pats the cat after freeding the animal.

“Thanks for saving this child!” Wrote a Facebook user, while a second one added: “You go beyond call toll. My hats to you.”
Charleroi Fire Chief Robert Whiten Jr. told Mon Valley IndependentA local media socket, that a woman heard the cat meowing under the car’s hood.
“A woman called and said she heard purring or meowing, and she didn’t know where it came from at first, but it sounded like it came from the car,” said Whiten Jr. “So she had someone to open the hood and there was a cat but near the washing liquid would be. Everything you could see was a head that pops out.”

“Our guys dismantled the inner fender and a headlight fixture, and there was so much space between the engine and the bumper that the cat was a little scared, so it ran back and forth from one side to the other,” continued the whit.

The cat, who is believed to be a stray, was taken to the Washington Area Humane Society, per outlet.

“Getting it from the street was the biggest one, you know, because we didn’t want it to crawl back there or be injured anywhere else running around. It was frosted this morning, so it was probably just trying to stay warm,” the White added.
