“People’s Bud” to buy Tiktok just got a helping hand from the Reddit founder

Omanian said he would join an initiative called “The People’s Bud for Tiktok”, which was launched by real estate and Sport Tycoon Frank McCourt’s Liberty initiative project, in a campaign united by investor Kevin O’Leary, known from Shark Tank -TV series where businesses are tone heights in bid for fiddies in bid for fiddies.
The group’s approach includes a crowdfunding element aimed at giving individuals and small businesses a share in the future of TikTok, which faces an American law that orders it to divest from its Chinese Owner Bythadance.
“I have spent my entire career to build technology that puts back power in people’s hands – that was what got me excited about the people’s commandments,” IHANIAN said in an edition.
“This is not just about Tiktok, it’s about basic reworking of how the Internet works.”
Project Liberty has promised to integrate a customized blockchain platform into TikTok that allows users to check and own their data.

TikTok returned to Apple and Google App stores in February, but still meets that they are banned in the United States over national security problems about the information it collects on users.
The popular Video Sharing app went shortly dark late January 18 and disappeared from app stores, to confusion of millions of users.

The TikTok ban was adopted because of the concern that the Chinese government could exploit the app to spy on Americans or secretly influence US public opinion through data collection and content manipulation.

When the clock is ticking down on Tiktok’s committee, which ends in early April, several challengers are about to buy the app.
