The real Scott Kelly joins the Jonas Brothers on the evening show after the video of his CV being read went viral

Scott Kelly has arrived.

On Thursday, November 13, the hopeful job candidate, who went viral when a TikTok users caught a prospective employer reading his resume at one The Jonas Brothers concert, finally met the pop stars (who vouched for him in the videos comment field) on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Kelly, who also spoke to Washington Post earlier Thursday, host Jimmy Fallon said he heard about his resume going viral from a friend who shared the news while taking classes for an MBA program. He then dropped a surprising connection with the man flipping through his resume in the video, Brandon Bieron. He was already enmeshed in Kelly’s connections because they served in the same U.S. Army infantry battalion in 2014 at Fort Drum in New York, Kelly explained.

The story took another strange turn when Kelly said he never actually applied for a job. He told Post he is “acquired” by a telecommunications company. But he has now built a connection with Bieron, who runs Reimer Home Services and focuses on hiring veterans. He will also join Kelly on a future episode of Kelly’s National Security Podcast, By the waterKelly told Fallon.

Fallon and the Jonas Brothers insisted they were all hearing about Kelly’s background for the first time. Then Kelly, 36, dropped another surprise.

“Can I share a real thing? I had never heard of you before this,” Kelly told the Jonas Brothers. “I didn’t have the Disney Channel growing up, I didn’t know!”

Fallon ended the segment by sharing a QR code to Kelly’s LinkedIn profile.

The original video was posted on Monday, November 10 and has since received nearly 50 million views on TikTok.

In the clip, a user named Jen sits a row behind a man who is glued to his phone reading a resume while at the live event. “scott kelly your resume was reviewed at a jonas brothers concert tonight. good luck,” she captioned the video.

In almost no time at all, the masses — including the “Only Human” hitmakers themselves — rallied around Kelly in hopes of landing the job.

“Scott Kelly’s work ethic and critical thinking inspired me to write the ‘red dress’ line,” commented Nick.

“Brother, Scott Kelly was there for me many times. Employee ✅,” Joe added.

Kevin also participated in the fun, playful writing: “I’m one of Scott Kelly’s references.”

However, the band of brothers weren’t the only ones jumping on the Scott Kelly bandwagon – popular brands also got in, supporting the job seeker.

Old Navy’s comment — “Scott Kelly always dresses professionally, highly recommend” — was one of the many responses that helped get the video more than 34,000 comments. Most of them come from users and big brands telling us how Kelly made their lives better.
