Jonathan van Ness shares images of dramatic weight loss

Jonathan van Ness Has made a dramatic transformation since he began his weight loss.

On Sunday, February 23 Queer eye Star, 37, published on his Instagram stories and revealed that he lost 66 kg, and shared before and after photos and how he achieved the weight loss.

“I want to note, GLP-1 has been a huge help,” he wrote.

GLP-1 Is short for glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists, who work in the brain to affect saturation. Popular brands are Ozempian and Shy.

“I have also made big other changes,” Van Ness continued. “At first, my diet was obvs, others were much less alcohol, and finally group pilates that have been most crucial. My mental health and overall feeling is another universe since last year and the biggest change was group condition. ”

On January 8, Van Ness revealed in a Tiktok video that he took the weight loss medicine to help control his binge-eating disorder. The hairdresser said that everyone who has followed him for a while knows “that I got and lost weight several times very publicly.”

“And this time in my life I knew I needed some extra help,” he said. “The most important thing was that my binge-eating disorder was without control.”

Van Ness said that he “consistently made decisions” he “regretted with compulsive eating, with binging” and that the process would leave him to feel “really not good, depressed and without control.”

After talking to his doctor, he landed on GLP-1 injection medicine and admitted that he “felt better immediately.”
