Kendall Jenner dazzles in Nicole Kidman’s Moulin Rouge Showgirl dress on the Vogue World 2025 Runway

Kendall Jenner made a grand entrance at Vogue World: Hollywood!

The supermodel, 29, hit the runway in a number that couldn’t be more on-brand for the night’s theme, which celebrated the long-standing relationship between film and high fashion for the fourth edition of the event on Sunday, October 26.

Jenner went in a glittery outfit that was famously worn by Nicole Kidmancharacter, Satine, 2001s Moulin Rouge!the film musical directed by Baz Luhrmann and costume designed by Catherine Martin and Angus Strathie. (Kidman himself opened the show!)

The model wore the crystal-encrusted black and silver bodysuit designed by Martin to strut down the sartorial street-style catwalk at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, California. She paired it with black sheer stockings and embellished heels that matched her top.

Jenner’s accessories and glam were oh-so-showgirl, including bright red nail polish and dangling, diamond earrings that dazzled as she walked. She topped off her look with a black, crystal-embellished top hat.

As for her hair, she kept her long, brown locks down and swept back from her face. She wore minimal makeup that complimented her maximalist ensemble.

Musical guests Doja Cat and Gracie Abrams performed during the performance, with stars including Dakota JohnsonHailey Bieber, Cynthia Erivo and Miley Cyrus in the audience.

of the year Vogue World celebrates the conversation between film and fashion. 100 percent of ticket proceeds will be donated to the Entertainment Community Fund, focused on supporting costume professionals affected by the wildfires that swept through Los Angeles in early 2025.

Vogue will work with the Costume Designers Guild (Local 892 IATSE) and the Entertainment Community Fund to identify those most directly affected, according to a news release.

Vogue World debuted in 2022 as a way to revive New York Fashion Week after the covid-19 pandemic, and was followed by the 2023 edition in London, a night of theater that benefited the city’s performing arts scene after government budget cuts. In 2024, Vogue World hosted a fashion opening ceremony at Place Vendôme in Paris with over 500 models, athletes and artists.

Since the beginning, Vogue World has donated more than $3 million to various charities.

The 2024 event celebrated the intersection of fashion (especially French fashion designers and houses) and sport by honoring a different sport in each decade. During the 1950s they celebrated riders, with Jenner and Gigi Hadid ride horses through the square.

Dressed in head-to-toe Hermès looks, the duo rode side by side on their horses, named Django and Napo. The horses were draped in colorful Hermès scarves and galloped around the square in front of the guests.

Jenner and Hadid later returned at the end of the event sans horses, along with all the models. Hadid wore a gold and blue look with a structured bodice and flowy skirt, while Jenner wore a sheer, neutral-toned flowy dress.
