Search for California dad whose kayak was “found broken in half” dismissed

The US Coast Guard has interrupted his search for a father who disappeared off the California coast during kayaking.

Arizaga said Danny was a competition outriger Paddler who sometimes competes with his 9-year-old daughter, according to KSWB. “They had a really good time,” she added.
