A beginner is six figures richer after hitting Milwaukee Bucks’ Damian Lillard In a high input shooting competition.
Jaren Barajas, a business student at Los while Pittsburg, California, won $ 100,000 after having the best Lillard in Mrbeast’s three-point shootout competition during the NBA’s All-Star game on Sunday 16 February.
“This will mean the world to me, it will help my family a lot and definitely my future,” Barajas said, according to Associated Press. “Hopefully it will help me pay for my education, which it will do.”
IN Main twistwhich was held in the San Francisco Chase Center, Bajas was randomly chosen from the audience. To win, he had to make a shot from the logo at half court before Lillard made three from the same place.

After taking a trip on several rounds, Lillard got two baskets and Bajas had zero. He needed to do one before Lillard made his third to win. After Baraja’s last chance (and a few side box from Kenny Smith, Shaquille O’Neal and Stephen Curry), he made the basket when the summer went off and led to a rushing celebration from the audience.
“Kenny tried to give me advice. He said” Keep your follow -up. “Shaq told me to shoot a little higher,” Barajas told Fox Affiliate Kvu. “The last shot came down just before the summer. I threw it up there and it went in.”

He also credited a tip about the old school from his father to help him sink the winning shot.
“It came down to the thread, we had 30 seconds left and my dad always says I use backboard,” Barajas said per ap. “That’s what I had to do to make it go in.”
Barajas cemented the victory by jumping into a cube with lifestyle full of cash. Lillard also helped to throw the cash price at Barajas.
The moment that almost didn’t happen when Barajas revealed his father, Michael Barajas, “surprised” him with tickets to the game the day before after searching for ticket prices he could afford. Barajas told Kvtu that he was at his grandfather 80th birthday when he found out that he and his father would.
“I couldn’t hold a smile from my face after that … (the seats) were a couple of lines from as high as you can get.”
Bajas said that after he arrived early, around 15:30, he was contacted by someone who asked if he was interested in going to court.
“I didn’t even know I would come to the game, so to have this experience it is so surreal. I’m so grateful,” Jaren told AP. His father added, “It was all lucky, meant to be, I don’t know. I can’t believe that. ”
He thanked his father for taking him to the game and “let me shine in the moment.”

Bajas plans to save “a lot” the money he won and put another part against college and help his family, he said in a video that was shared in the NBA’s official X account. “It’s been tough a bit but it will help a lot. Help with my future and my family.”
“I still can’t process this happening,” he added. “To meet all these players I grew up and watched … a crazy experience.”
If Lillard, an Oakland, California, native won, $ 100,000 would be donated to charity. Although the NBA star lost, the league announced via X That it would still give $ 50,000 to Damian Lillard Scholars program and $ 50,000 to Boys and Girls Clubs in Oakland and San Francisco.
