A worker at an animal welfare in Mississippi was killed to death by two dogs in his care.
On the afternoon of July 18, Clifford Phillips Jr., 57, was attacked when he worked at the Second Chance Animal Alliance, a non -profit organization where the two dogs were protected, on Water Way, Wreg news reported.
“A dog was already in a pen and he tried to put another dog there and the other dog tried to end, and he tried to hold him with his foot and that dog grabbed his leg, pulled him down,” told friend Dudley Woods to the outlet.
“And then the other dog jumped in with him. One of them was a pit, and the other was a pit of mixed breed, and they killed him. They got everything on bands down there,” he said.

According to the stores, a male dog began the attack and he was killed after the incident.
More than a dozen dogs were reportedly protected at the plant at that time, as was the two dogs.

Philips had worked on animal welfare for two years when he was attacked. He moved with his family to Water Valley from his home state Wisconsin in 2007, according to his obituary.
“His silent and thoughtful behavior helped him promote a love for animals,” it says. “And he pointed out that he often felt more comfortable around his pets than around people, perhaps reminded of the time he spent with Eon, his beloved childhood dog … He will be much missed by everyone who knew and loved him.”
A memory guest was held for Philips at Sylva Rena Baptist Church in Mississippi on July 24.
