A four-month-old boy was seriously injured in a car accident that killed his parents-and it is unlikely that he will survive.
On August 7, the engineer Syed Waheed, 35, and his wife, Sana Begum, 27, died in a crash while driving in Abu Dhabi and went to their home in Al Ruwais, according to several reports from local shops The citizenThe The daily tribun by Bahrain and Khaleeeej times by Dubai.
The vehicle hit a road divider and then crashed into a post with the couple’s three children also in the vehicle, per The citizenWho quoted both an uncle and the children’s grandfather, Syed Ismail.

The citizen Originally, on August 11, reported that the child was taken to an intensive care unit and treated for head injuries, while his older sisters – Sidra, 7 and Sadia, 2 – had fractures in the legs.
All were treated at a hospital in Al Ruwais, Uncle Syed Mateen told Times That the girls are expected to be released at the beginning of next week, but their little brother is on a ventilator and “almost completely brain dead.”
“There has been no improvement and the doctors have told us that he may not survive,” Farbror said in a August 14 update of the outlet. “I can’t think properly, it’s too much shock to see the child on a ventilator.”

“We haven’t told the children about their parents,” he added. “How do you tell the kids this news? I’ll wait until my father comes here to talk to them about this.”
After the crash, the family said that the child’s grandfather traveled from Hyderabad, India – where a funeral was held – to take custody of the children.
“They have left us, they are gone, we can’t do anything. We can only pray to Allah for the children. I ask everyone to pray for my grandson, he is only four months old and has brain damage,” Ismail told The citizen August 11.
A close relative also told The daily tribun That the child “fought for his life” from August 11. Relatives worked with the Indian Embassy to get the parents’ residue home, as the outlet reported that they were added to rest on August 9, two days after the crash.
Mateen was the last person to see the parents-his swogs and sister-before their deaths last week. He told me National That they visited him in his home in Abu Dhabi. “I’m empty, I still can’t believe it. I still think my sister is alive, I can’t believe I will never meet her again,” he said, leaving that his brother -in -law was also “such a good person.”
“He would do anything for people in need, would give people money if they needed and would never ask for it back. I learned from Waheed to help people. He also knew how to handle critical situations,” Mateen continued.
At the time of his death, the infant’s father worked for a technology company and recently moved with his family from Abu Dhabi, where they lived for five years, to Al Ruwais. They had lived in the United Arab Emirates for about seven years, per The citizen.
“They were the decision makers in our family and now they are gone,” Uncle said. “There is so much we have to plan for children’s education and future.”
Ismail also reflected the loss of its “perfect” daughter. Her dream, he said The citizenwas to “care and take care of the children.”
“Her dreams were just for the children – they both wanted to give them the world,” he added.
