A 2-year-old boy reportedly died after a freak accident in his home in Australia.
On Monday, June 23, the first responders were warned of reports of a non -responding boy in a home in Fingal Bay, about 140 miles north of Sydney, about 12.10 local time, New South Wales police told us in a statement.
“He died at the scene,” the release.
Australian newspaper The daily telegraph Reported that the tragedy occurred after the boy’s hoodie was captured on a curtain rod and tightened around his neck while playing in the family’s home.
This has not yet been confirmed by the local authorities, who have added that “the police have begun an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident”, in their statement.
“A report will be prepared for the coron,” the police were granted.

Neighbors talked to The daily telegraph About hearing cries from the child’s mother after she found her son.
“They are the most beautiful family … We’re all still traumatized by yesterday,” one person told the outlet.
“All we know is that she (the child’s mother) was just out in the room as for a minute and he jumped up I think and it has been snagged on (curtain) the rod.”

“The police have begun an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident,” said a spokesman for the NSW Police, Per News.com.au and 7News.
The daily telegraph Reported that death was similar to that of toddlers Jack Mackay, who died in the same area in 2013 when he played in his crib with a loose curtain cable, which tragically wrapped around his neck.
