Carnival Cruise Line said in a statement obtained by humans, “Our lifeguards and medical team responded to two separate water events at Celebration Key on Friday – one in the lagoon and one on the beach.
“Unfortunately, both guests have passed away. A guest sailed with the family at Mardi Gras and a guest sailed with the family at Karneval,” the statement continued.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the guests and their families and our care team gives help,” they added.
